British film Slumdog Millionaire won the top prize at the Academy Awards last night, in total winning eight Oscars including best director and best picture.  It’s not surprising that it has done well as it’s a great film. All at Acorn who have not already seen the film are planning to go and see it soon. On the other hand we all liked Mama Mia, so you need to make up your own mind.
